Jenny DataLine

Here is a list of what Jenny and friends were put out what years. This is not a complete list. Many of the dates and names are from the book "Jenny's Collection". This is a Japanese book and I translated them to English. Some of the information is stuff I have found out from telephone calls to Takara, talking with other collectors, or from the kind owners of the Totoco store. I have spelled the names as best I can but there might be some errors. If you find any, please email me and let me know.Also, if you have any other information that could be added to this, please email me.

1986	Takara Barbie becomes Jenny due to Takara's loss of the right to use the name Barbie. Commercials were shown about how Jenny had "dreamed" she was Barbie. Fairy Field Jenny (4 versions) page 46 Hiromichi Nakano Jenny Flora Flora was introduced as Takara Barbie's friend in 1983 and continued on as Jenny's friend. Jenny's Club dolls: Jenny, Sheena, Marine, Julia, Flora, Ellie Boyfriend Jeff Excellina Jenny--- beautiful dark blue eyes Nice Jenny (special body with Shani-type arms) Marine (in June) Wedding Memory Jenny page 38 lower right Dakkochan Club Jenny-- this Jenny had short hair, Dakkochan earrings, and Dakkochan print skirt. page 20 bottom left (note: Dakkochan is the name for the character that Takara used at this time as their trademark. It was kind of a black mambo looking character with big lips. Due to complaints about this character though, it was changed.
