Mattel has started selling Barbie outfits in bags in
Japan like Takara does the Jenny outfits. They are 100yen more expensive
than the Jenny outfits but they include a pair of shoes. As of May 1999
I only know of 6 outfits that are out. Cost is 600yen per outfit retail
price. Here is a picture from the back of one of the packages. The outfits
are numbered and put in groups. Each outfit has a name also. See the pictures
of each outfit below for more information.
